UK Shop ("the App") is operated by Easy Technology Company ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using UK Shop, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We only collect the information needed to run the App, create your account, and deliver your orders. We do not collect more than this. The information is stored in Google's Firebase services (Authentication and Firestore).

• Account information (required): your name, phone number, and email address. You create an account using email or Google Sign-In.
• Password (required, when applicable): if you sign in with a password, it is stored only as a salted hash. We never store or see your password in plaintext.
• Authentication details: we support several sign-in methods — phone number with a one-time SMS code, phone number with a password, email with a password, and Google Sign-In. (Sign in with Apple is being added.)
• Delivery information (required to ship an order): your shipping address, including full name, phone number, address line, city, and any delivery notes.
• Precise delivery location (optional): your GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude), collected only if you choose to pin your delivery location on a map. You can decline this and still place orders by entering your address manually.
• Order information: your order history, the items you order, totals, currency, and order status. Payment is Cash on Delivery only — we do not collect any card, bank, or other financial data.
• User content: product wish requests you submit and comments you post on tips and videos. Requests are visible to store administrators; comments are also visible to other users.
• Technical information: a Firebase user ID that identifies your account, and local notifications used to keep you updated about your orders.

We do not use any advertising SDKs, any analytics or tracking SDKs, or any form of cross-app tracking.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Process your orders and arrange delivery to your address.
• Provide customer support and respond to your questions.
• Send you notifications about your orders and account.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the store and the App.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers needed to operate the App, and only as required by law:

• Firebase / Google LLC: hosts all of our data, including Authentication, the Firestore database, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions. See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• OTPIQ: our SMS provider. It receives your phone number and a one-time code in order to deliver your login code by SMS or WhatsApp.
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim: receives map queries and approximate coordinates to display maps and look up addresses for the delivery-location picker. See https://openstreetmap.org/copyright.
• Google Sign-In: when you choose to sign in with Google, Google provides us with your account email so we can authenticate you.
• Legal compliance: we may disclose information when required to do so by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is deleted as described in the "Account & Data Deletion" section below.

Location Data

Precise location is optional. We only access your GPS coordinates when you choose to pin your delivery location on a map. You can decline location access and still use the App by entering your address manually.

User-Generated Content

Comments and product wish requests you submit are visible to store administrators, and comments are visible to other users. You are responsible for the content you post. We moderate content in line with our Terms of Service and may remove content that violates them.

Children's Privacy

UK Shop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights & Choices

You can review and update your account information in the App at any time. You may decline optional location access. You also have the right to request access to, or deletion of, your personal data, as described below.

Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time directly in the App under Profile > Delete Account. This deletes your account and all associated Firestore data — including your orders, addresses, cart, wishlist, and comments.

Alternatively, you can email us at easytechnologycompany@gmail.com to request deletion, and we will process it for you.

International Data Transfer

Your data is processed and stored using Google's global infrastructure and may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Google maintains safeguards to protect data across its infrastructure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
